Yay! Time for my Sunday blog post again! I have so much news, I hope I don’t forget some important things I would like to share with you guys…
Where to begin? Let’s start with some things that I did last week. I interviewed David Longdon of Big Big Train last Wednesday. It’s one of the longest interviews I’ve done, and very interesting too. We discussed a lot of topics! I will let you know when you can hear the interview of course! I also wrote and published several reviews, and I’ve put the links to those reviews I published last week later on in this blog post.
Well, what about next week? I’m going to interview Adrian Jones of Nine Stones Close somewhere this week, and I’m really looking forward to it. It’s not the only interview this week, because I hope I will interview the band Anima Mundi before their gig at Musicon in Den Haag this Saturday! As you may know, I interviewed the bands Ashby and Profuna Ocean in Musicon as well last May, and I’m trying to create a ‘Purple Flower Progressive Hour Musicon Special’ of the bands I interviewed there. Please keep an eye on the page so you know when you can hear those interviews!
Is there more next week? Oh yes, there’s more! I’m not only doing interviews, I’m getting interviewed as well! David Snape of David Snape & Friends is going to interview me this Wednesday for his radioshow! I’m pretty excited!
I promised you and the guys of Proglodytes that I will make a vlog about my latest gigs I went to. That vlog is still coming, it’s just that I haven’t found the right time and software to make a good report! I really hope I have time this week, so please keep an eye on the page!
As I mentioned earlier in this post, here are my latest playlist and reviews I wrote last week:
My personal playlist of 6 June 2016
Album review: Anderson/Stolt – Invention Of Knowledge (2016)
Album review: Porcupine Tree – Lightbulb Sun (2000)
Concert review: Pendragon & John Young, live at the Boerderij Zoetermeer, 14 May 2016
Album review: The Jelly Jam – Prophet/Profit (2016)
By the way, my partner in crime Angelo Hulshout of Angelo’s Rock Orphanage told me today that I needed so shave… I hope my microphone works good enough as a shaver!
Big hugs from your shaving roving reporter!
Iris, aka Ier!
